Is It Too Early to Put Up Halloween Decorations?

When asking the almighty Google when is the appropriate time to start decorating for Halloween it says the first two weeks of October.

Well in my neighborhood I have pretty much a full haunted house down the block already. Now more power to them it is a fun holiday. They had to do the decorating in the heat too which is never easy. When is it too early to put up decorations? Or is there a too early? Some people leave Christmas decor up all year, I know I have been known to leave Christmas decor up late.

It was almost 90 and they had decor up though? There are places that are hot all year and have to decorate no matter in the heat, but in a place where the seasons change most people like to wait. I know though that seeing that got me excited about it  and may have been decorating sooner then my october 1st rule....
