Let’s Slurp Up These 5 Best Noodles In The Treasure Valley
Happy National Noodle Day! I freaking love noodles! I love all types of noodles, rice, wheat, buckwheat, and even zucchini. It doesn't matter if its pasta, ramen, egg noodles, soba noodles, or udon noodles. Give me all the noodles!
According to the National Today website "The oldest historical mention of noodles appears in a dictionary from the third century A.D. in China. The earliest noodles, were shaped into little bits, formed from bread dough, and thrown into a wok of boiling water. Unlike other inventions, it’s rather difficult to pinpoint exactly when and where noodles came from given that they relied on the innovation of home cooks".
Did you know that October is National Pasta Month? I had no idea, which make sense having National Noodle day in October as well.
If you think of noodles and immediately think of ramen, you're not the only one. I used to live off of Top Ramen and Cup Noodles, until I met my wife and she was hated the fact that I was even putting that into my body. Don't worry though I found some grew up and continue to enjoy my noodle obsession with ramen, pad thai, and I can put a hurting' on some low mein.
So when it comes to lunch or dinner today, think about your favorite noodles whether its pasta, ramen, or some of your moms chicken noodle soup. Not sure where to get the best noodles in the Treasure Valley, don't worry I've done the work for you.
