Be prepared, your commute is going to get nasty along I-84 between Nampa and Caldwell.

The Idaho Transportation Department plans to repave I-84 between Nampa and Caldwell. It's a project that has been bumped up and extended due to the nasty winter weather we have had that have created potholes.

Originally crews were only going to repave between Karcher Road and Franklin Road.

According to KTVB the majority of the construction will take place over the course of 4 weeks. Their goal is to reduce cost, reduce the impact of the construction on drivers, and to increase worker safety.
