Look, we get it - the world's a scary place and there is nothing wrong with protecting yourself. That being said, don't put yourself in a position to have to protect yourself if you don't have to.

We're going on a ghost hunt!

In a world before COVID, my wife and I got lucky and scored a babysitter (SCORE!) resulting in our first date night in what felt like forever. We decided to catch a scary flick in a theater (remember those?) to watch a horror movie.

I wish I could tell you which but all I remember is that it involved some exorcism-style horror and when one of the main characters was making a questionable decision, someone in the theater blurt out:

"S***, you ain't catching me goin' down there without my gun!"

The entire erupted in laughter, including us because it was likely the thought we all had.

Here's the thing - someone did just that while going on a ghost hunt here in Boise last year.

We stumbled across a video that's a little over a minute long that shows people exploring an abandoned church in Boise. We tried to identify which one but couldn't track down the info. If you know, please hit us up here as we would love to learn more about it.

In the video, we see a man exploring this abandoned church and he gets creeped out enough to where he actually, seriously, for real, pulls his gun on the ghost making that sound.

Now - we're not scientists, we're not paranormal experts... but are we crazy for thinking that a 9mm bullet won't really help much when a translucent demon possesses your body and parts?

Are we crazy?

Check out what went down inside this church below and let us know if you'd pull a gun on this paranormal activity.
