Manhunt Going On Right Now In Boise

The area north of Emerald Street and east of Orchard Street is being searched by police for a wanted person.

Police recovered a stolen vehicle in that area and now have a full on manhunt going.  They're not releasing specific details of the identity of this person or what they are wanted for but we do know it's most likely a male who was involved in a prior shooting.  Boise Police and Meridian Police are on the scene.

It's speculated that the person of interest is 33-year-old Marco Romero, the suspect in a Tuesday night shooting at a Meridian apartment complex that wounded two people but Boise Police spokeswoman Haley Williams is declining to comment.

Romero is also belived to have been involved in the carjacking of an 89-year-old woman last night.  Residents in this area should stay indoors.
