Manhunt in Kootenai County

Kootenai County Sheriff Deputies are searching for a man in the West Cougar Road and West Meadowbrooke Loop area.

A freeway camera caught a stolen vehicle and the pursuit began in Couer d'Alene and went south on US-95 onto Cougar Gulch Road.  Air 1 from the Spokane County Sheriff's Office K-9 units were called in to help with the search.

This guy is wearing a dark hoodie, clean shaven, and possibly in his 30's.  He ditched the car around 7 a.m. and fled on foot.  The roads in this area are open to local traffic only.
