Governor Brad Little reached out to President Donald Trump asking for help in the northern parts of Idaho that are suffering millions of dollars in damage due to flooding from all the rain received back in April.

U.S. Senators Mike Crapo and Jim Risch, along with U.S. Representative Russ Fulcher released this statement...

Areas throughout north central Idaho have suffered millions of dollars in damage to homes, public lands, property and businesses in the wake of extensive flooding in the region.  This declaration will help existing on-the-ground efforts by state and local agencies continue to provide vital assistance to the affected communities recovering from this tragedy.

President Trump has approved the request meaning help is on the way.  According to East Idaho News, areas affected by this flooding are Adams, Idaho, Latah, Lewis, and Valley Counties, as well as on the Nez Perce Reservation.
