Just to be up front, we're not here to talk down on any political side or attack anyone's political beliefs. We're simply sharing what's going on because, like you, people like me shop at Wally World AKA Walmart.

And why not? They got everything, and we all love their low prices... for now.

Walmart Has Some Bad News For Idaho Shoppers

Walmart has always been known for being affordable. Remember the little smiley character they had that would knock prices down in their store? If that doesn't show how Walmart was (and is) proud of its low prices, then what does? Just look at this little guy.

Unfortunately, Walmart announced some news that would make any smiley face frown. In an earnings call shared by CNN, Walmart said that "higher tariffs will result in higher prices."

"I’m concerned that consumer is going to start seeing higher prices. You’ll begin to see that, likely towards the tail end of this month, and then certainly much more in June," John David Rainey, Walmart Finance Chief said, according to CNN.

Talk about a kick in the pants, right?

Supposedly, we'll see the tariffs affect products like toys and electronics, so the silver lining is that we won't see EVERYTHING go up, you know?

It's Not All Bad News

There is another subtle silver lining, and that's Walmart praising Trump for bringing down "145% tariff levels in China" despite their feelings on the current tariff levels, according to CNN.
