Take This Haunted Idaho Road Trip This Summer

This Idaho's oldest mental institution and it used to be called the Idaho Insane Asylum.

The courthouse used to house prisoners on the top floor and several of them hung themselves in this building.

This unique looking antique shop is rumored to be haunted. Floating lights have been spotted on the top floor and the owner says he has an open relationship with the spirit world.

This cemetery dates back to 1882 and some of Idaho's most brutally murdered people are buried here, so it seems like the perfect spot to run into a ghost.

This campus used to serve as Weiser High School and one of the three buildings used to serve as a mental institution. You can take the creepy story from there.

A spirit known as "the lady in blue" is said to frequent this spot. Will you run into her?

The brig at this formal Navy Training Center is home to the legend of a German prisoner of war who was apparently chained to his cell and left to die.

Star crossed lovers apparently plunged to their deaths at this lake. To this day people say they have spotted the couple floating in the water.

The former hotel is now closed but is still said to be home to a ghost named Maggie who frequented the hotel in 1800s. The tale is that her lover left her there and never returned.
