2017 was a good year for the Boise State football program. The Broncos finished the season with an 11-3 record and went on to win the 2017 Las Vegas Bowl and become the Mountain West Champions, beating Fresno State in the championship game 17-14. That team consisted of 9 players who would eventually play in the NFL. Not a bad squad!

Fast-forward to 2022 and Bronco fans can own a piece of history from none other than Bronco defensive end, Sam Whitney who was a part of that magical 2017 season. eBay user “championshiprings” is selling Whitney’s 2017 Mountain West/Las Vegas Bowl championship ring for $1,450.

Now, we don’t know the circumstance behind why Whitney would sell his ring but we do know he’s not the only one to sell his ring. A member of the 2009 Clemson Tigers also sold their championship ring to “championshiprings” as well as several other former college players.
