Another reminder that life can change in an instant. A 21-year-old Caldwell woman is no longer with us after a head-on crash at the Idaho/Nevada line.

This story really hits home for me because as I was driving back to Boise from South Lake Tahoe yesterday, we passed several semis and every time my friend would make this dangerous maneuver to pass without a passing lane I had a mini-heart attack. Why? Because this is what can happen and my heart is breaking for this young woman's family this morning.

Joanna V. Gramajo Reyes of Caldwell was headed northbound in a Ford F-250 towing a van and a trailer behind it. According to an article on KTVB that details the accident, 38-year-old Weston M. Jones of Kimberly, Idaho was in a Ford F-150 when he crossed the center line and hit the truck, Joanna was in head-on.

Although Jones was not hurt in the crash, the 21-year-old woman died at the scene despite the fact that she was wearing her seatbelt. The other three people in the truck with Joanna were taken by ambulance to St. Luke's Magic Valley in Twin Falls.

Please keep everyone involved in this horrible accident in your thoughts and prayers. 21-years old is far too young to die.
