It was a busy night for fire crews as they battled a 60-acre fire last night at Lucky Peak. Officials called it the Charcoal Fire, and some could see the large plume of smoke from miles away. According to KTVB, the brush fire happened in an area that was inaccessible by road, so BLM Fire crews were fighting the fire with air support as well as getting assistance from the Ada County Sheriff's Office by boat.

There has been no new information about what might have caused the fire or if the fire is fully contained at this point.
