A Hidden Gem at Zoo Boise

I discovered the coolest thing at Zoo Boise yesterday. It's something I've never experienced before in my life. If you haven't seen it, you have to go this summer!

My sister is in town visiting from Southern Utah. We've been hitting all of the hot spots in the Treasure Valley, including a trip to Zoo Boise. I swear every time I go to the zoo I discover something new and this time we had a once in a lifetime experience.

Did you know they have a Butterfly room at Zoo Boise?! You walk into this greenhouse type of room and butterflies are flying everywhere! I've never seen so many different kinds of butterflies! They fly all over and land on your shoulder or your finger. For some reason several butterflies kept landing on my nephews hat. It was amazing!

The butterfly experience is free with your admission into Zoo Boise and is open June through August. Check it out!!
