Abby Auditions To Sing With Raging Idiots For BobbyFest In Her Hometown
Ever since our phone screener Abby has been part of the show, she's shared that her dream when she moved to Nashville was to pursue a singing career. However, that's not how her life panned out and she's been working for the show for the last few years.
She's shared before that she auditioned for American Idol but didn't make it past the auditions. She's performed a few times on The Bobby Bones Show, but this was her most important performance. She decided to shoot her shot and ask Bobby Bones if she could perform at his inaugural BobbyFest when it goes to her hometown of Wichita, Kansas on her birthday. He said he couldn't just give her a spot, but he could let her audition for the opportunity to sing with The Raging Idiots.
So today (August 11), Abby auditioned for a chance to perform at BobbyFest. She first performed Bonnie Raitt's "Something To Talk About" and was a little nervous according to all of our judges (the other show members). So then she performed Jo Dee Messina's "Heads Carolina, Tails California" and rocked it. She needed 4 out of 5 of our judges to say "yes" for her to go perform at the show. Bobby, Amy, Eddie, and Raymundo all said yes, though Lunchbox said no. But it didn't matter because with 4/5 saying "yes" that means Abby will get to perform with the Raging Idiots in Wichita, Kansas!
