I've never been much of a thrift store shopper, but after my adventure today that may change! Here's the "Best Thrift Stores in Boise!"

There is nothing better than a little retail therapy, but I must admit that I've never really shopped at thrift stores. I would use excuses like "I don't like to sift through a bunch of random clothes," or inside I would think to myself, "I don't know if I'm comfortable wearing someone else's old stuff!"

My thoughts started to change this week when Zizly came into the office two days in a row wearing super cute jeans! Both times I asked her where she got them and both times she would say "At the thrift store! I bought these for $3 or I bought these Express brand jeans for $4!!" What?!?! Are you kidding me?!?!

Right after the show today I headed to UPTOWN CHEAPSKATE and $32.86 later I walked out with 2 pairs of jeans and 4 shirts!!! Ok, I'm sold!! I'm officially a thrift store shopper!

I will say, I don't think all thrift stores are the same. I browsed through a couple other thrift stores in the area and came up empty handed. One thing I liked about UPTOWN CHEAPSKATE is they also sell some new clothes that are really cute and affordable.

I'll never forget my Dad visiting Boise for the first time and finding a killer pair of cowboy boots at Goodwill. He thinks Goodwill is the best part about the whole city now!

I've also heard great things about the Idaho Youth Ranch Thrift Store and these other thrift stores in the area.
