Boise Bike Boxes are Back

Remember those green bike boxes in downtown Boise? They're back for good.

Back in the Spring of 2014, these green bike boxes went through a trial phase in downtown Boise. There were some mixed feelings about them, but they're back and they're here to stay.

The boxes will be seen on the Capitol and Myrtle intersection, and on River, Idaho, and Bannock streets.

These bike boxes make it easier for cyclists to be more visible to motorists and prevent collisions.

Motorists will no longer be able to make right turns on red lights where the boxes are installed.
