Boise Man Killed in Ustick Crash Identified
As many commuters were complaining about the longer traffic Tuesday morning, tragedy was striking.
65-year-old Larry Lee Morton Jr. died tragically Tuesday morning as a result of a car crash on Ustick Road. We forget sometimes in these situations that there are human beings, just like us, heading to work and trying to take care of their daily chores and now they're either fighting for their lives, having the worst day ever in their life or even worse... life as they know it ends completely. That's what happened for Morton on Tuesday when he veered over into oncoming traffic for a now, unknown reason causing a head-on collision. A mistake that wouldn't just change his life forever, but end it.
The coroner released information stating that Morton's cause of death was blunt force trauma. Toxicology reports have not come in yet and this crash is currently being investigated by the Meridian Police Department.
