Guess we'll have some new neighbors soon.

If 2020 taught us anything, it's that life is too short to not live it the way you want. I don't know about you, but I took a hard look at a lot of things in my life like how I spend my time, who I spend it with, and even where I live.

Luckily, we live in a great place with beautiful views, plenty of activities and wonderful people.

And it sounds like word about all of that goodness is getting out. Recently Thrillist compiled a list of the 'Underappreciated American Cities You Should Totally Move To" and Boise was on there. I was drawn to it because of the word "underappreciated." I don't think I'm the only one who feels like we don't get the respect we deserve sometimes. We've got a little chip on our shoulder, don't we?

Well now we're getting some love.

Cities that were selected for this list are celebrated for their comfort, culture and affordability. In a way, we are the best, not just of both worlds, but all worlds. We offer small town charm with big city vibes.

Specifically, Thrillist described Boise like this, "The allure of the Pacific Northwest, without Portland prices." I think Portland was probably on a list similar to this not too long ago so this makes sense. They highlighted our bike-friendly and walkable city, our views, and our proximity to countless outdoor adventures like Snake River Valley, Sun Valley, Sawtooth Mountains and Shoshone Falls.
