Boise’s Hidden Little Secret

We often times are looking for something a bit different to do.  Dinner and a movie is fun, but it gets old.  Carly and I found the perfect thing.

If you want a great, live show... check out The Idaho Stampede.  I'm not just talking about the basketball (which is top notch).  I'm talking about the show, from start to finish.  First off, every seat is a good seat.  I can't say enough about Century Link Arena.  We were lucky enough to have one of the V.I.P. booths on the floor but as I looked around, I noticed how great it was no matter where you were sitting.

As the game got under way they'd splash in fun, little games like The Burger Bun thing-a-ma-jigger... the Stick Horse Race... some guy even got to shoot some hoops to win an ATV worth thousands.

The cheer leaders were off the charts with their routines and music and something I thought was very cool was the stunt team.  These guys are like high flying cheerleaders that help out with the games, chants, cheers, plus some crazy acrobats.  I was truly worried one of them was going to get very hurt.  I guess they know what they're doing.  One of them even dressed up like Santa and had lots of fun with the kids.

Of course the food's great, ours was delivered straight from the mascot (Rumble).

All this and the team's actually very good.  We took home another win last night and I'm sold.  My son and I are Stampede fans.  We'll see you out there!
