Chilling Video Of An Empty Boise

The empty Las Vegas strip, beaches in California and Hawaii, abandoned, Times Square silent.  All pictures of America in a pandemic.  It looks like the first episode of The Walking Dead and it’s still hard to believe that it’s real.  We’ve even become accustomed to seeing Downtown Boise with no one around.  I’ve driven from the studios to get lunch downtown or to a grocery store but until I saw this video, I didn’t realize just how empty Boise is right now with so many people working from home.  It’s almost chilling to think that just five weeks ago, these same streets were bustling with people and construction and action.  While we’re all hopeful that life can resume soon, this is a good reminder of just how seriously our community has taken the virus.
