Chinook Fishing Season Kicks Off On April 22

Some rivers will start Idaho's Chinook fishing season on April 22.  

The Idaho Fish and Game commission has approved four-day-a-week fishing on the Clearwater River and daily fishing on the Snake River in Hells Canyon and the Lower Salmon and Little Salmon Rivers.

Please check with the commission for information on what the daily bag limits are.  They're different for each river depending on the total expected return of the fish.
