Drive By Shooting In Nampa

Nampa Police are on it!  They're looking for a suspect who shot a man driving his truck in Nampa this afternoon.

It all went down near the intersection of Florida Avenue and Ivy Street just after 5 o'clock.  The victim is 25 years old and was shot in his upper torso and has been admitted to a hospital.  The extent of his injuries is unknown at this time.

The suspect is a Hispanic man around 5 feet 9 inches tall with a shaved head and he was wearing baggy pants.  He was driving a white passenger car that may have been a Buick or Cadillac.  There may be damage on the side of his vehicle because a collision with the suspect and victim possibly happened.  Do not approach the suspect if spotted.  He is considered armed and dangerous.

Police say it looks as if the suspect's truck was moving when he was shot.  It's unknown if there's some type of relationship between the two men and if this crime was random or not.  Streets around East Florida Ave and Ivy Street are shut down while the investigation continues.
