Eagle Tubing Hill Releases Opening Date

There is nothing better than racing down a hill with your kids and here's your chance!

According to KTVB Gateway Parks Snow Park at Eagle Island is open for the season!

If your questioning how that could be since we really haven't seen snow on the valley floor yet, this snow is man made. They have seven to ten feet of snow on the hill that they've created over the last four days and the goal is to get 20 feet of snow created by the weekend.

Eagle Island also offers up skiing and snowboarding. I took my 11 year old son who is just learning to ski last year and he had an absolute blast!

As far as tubing, there are three lanes available this year and they say they can accommodate up to 1,000 people per day.
