Empty Bowls 2019 Fundraiser for The Idaho Foodbank

As most people are getting excited about the upcoming holiday season there are some around the Treasure Valley that struggle to know where their next meal is going to come from. Which is why it's so important to support The Idaho Foodbank and all the events that they put on, like Empty Bowls 2019.

Empty Bowls 2019, will take place on the Friday after Thanksgiving downtown Boise on the Grove Plaza. The event is set to run from 10:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.

Throughout the year, The Idaho Foodbank collects handcrafted and hand-painted bowls from professional and amateur artisans, students and studios.

During this event people are encouraged to select a unique bowl from thousands and enjoy a hot bowl of soup generously donated by one of several local restaurants.
