Jeopardy! has been around since 1984, and has aired over 7,000. So Boise was bound to come up from time to time. There's only so many questions in the world, and the City of Trees has been the answer to Jeopardy!'s questions more often than you'd think.
There's an online database of Jeopardy! questions that is searchable by keyword, so you can see exactly how many questions had Boise in the answer. Surprisingly, Boise has been mentioned 55 times on the show, and an additional five times in final Jeopardy!
Fun fact we learned while reading up on Jeopardy!: Host Alex Trebek got his start as a newscaster and sportscaster in his native homeland of Canada. It makes Jeopardy! that much sexier and appealing knowing it has an international flair.
