WARNING: If You See Fruit On An Idaho Gas Pump, DON’T Touch It!
Okay, let's just address the elephant in the room: there are A LOT of these kinds of trends going around.
"If you see ___ in the forest, RUN!" or the infamous dollar bill on the windshield.
The latest warning came from a viral Instagram post made by a man living in Bakersfield, California.
Apples and oranges...
In the Instagram video, a man is seen at a gas pump with an apple and an orange behind him. His warning to people about the fruit might sound weird at first until he reveals that it's for drug dealers.
The drug dealers aren't hungry and looking for a healthy snack either.
The man in the video says that the fruit is a signal to nearby drug dealers letting them know that they have a potential customer.
The drug you're "asking for" depends on which fruit you pick up.
Here's the thing - the man in the video warns that if you picked up the fruit and aren't looking to buy some drugs, "you're in for a world of hurt."
Yikes!
And here we thought someone was just leaving out a delicious snack to help us feel refreshed in the summer heat.
Drug dealers can be so creative... and deceiving. Check out the full video below. The man even says that he's being watched as he records...
Be safe out there and don't go for the forbidden fruit!
