Spring and summer in the Treasure Valley are some of the best things about living here. Seriously, what's better than being outside on a sunny 75-degree day enjoying an ice-cold drink with some friends? Now, we have another reason to get excited with the return of one of Boise's favorite hangout spots.

"A Food Truck In The Heart Of Boise"

The Boise area is known for its amazing food spots, music scene, and, as we previously mentioned, the beautiful weather. We'll get to enjoy all three of those this weekend with the return of Green Acres Food Truck Park.

Opening day begins tomorrow morning at 9 AM with coffee and pastries until 2 PM, before the Green Acres Bar opens up at 11 AM. And then there's the food trucks!

The food trucks kicking things off this opening day include Kanak Attack, Darjeeling Momo, Crisp, Basilios Tacos, Sizzlin' Stone Pizza, and 10 Barrel.

If you've never been to Green Acres, it's located at 1401 W. Shoreline Dr., Boise, ID 83702, and they're open Wednesday through Sunday. They're open 11 AM to 8 PM on Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday. On Friday and Saturday, they're open 9 AM to 8 PM.

Who Is Performing On Opening Weekend?

The only thing that can make a food truck park of this scale better is music, and this weekend has a solid line-up. The Turtle Poppers will be kicking off the weekend on Friday, and Saturday will feature three bands: Bad Judgment Band, Jeff Engelbert Band, and Interstate 90. There will also be face painting for the little ones on Saturday and Sunday.

Sunday's music line-up will feature Nick Mattera, Dry Buck, and Parkside.

You can learn more about the food truck line-up for this weekend, along with upcoming events HERE.
