Here Are the Things We’d Give Up to Travel Internationally Again
I would let go of some things if it meant I could be back in Barcelona.
Way back in 2019 (which feels like 100 years ago), my husband and I took a trip to Barcelona. It was absolutely magical to walk along the shores of the Mediterranean See, explore the city and eat all the paella and gelato my stomach could handle. I would give up quite a bit to be able to return to Spain or travel to another country.
Of course, thank to the pandemic, travel has gone out the window. I mean, you could easily hop on a plane and go anywhere in the nation if you wanted. You could even hop in a car and road trip somewhere. Heck, my husband and I took a train ride from Chicago to San Francisco last August.
However, if you're looking to cross an ocean it may be a little more problematic.
It does raise an interesting question though. What would you be willing to give up if it meant you could travel internationally again? Maybe you'd give up carbs or you favorite show on Netflix. Perhaps you'd give up something much bigger.
According to a recent survey, here's what we would give up in exchange for travel right now.
