When Will Idaho Police Transition To Elon’s Tesla Vehicles?

Love him or hate him, Elon Musk has some pretty impressive creations on his resume. The man created what we know today to be PayPal - if you didn't know, now you do. He gave the planet internet via satellite in the form of Starlink, founded SpaceX, and if you need a little bit more butter with your pancakes, he even gave us bulletproof cars.

Not everyone is a fan of "The Musk"

We don't know if anyone calls him "The Musk" but if they do, they probably don't like him... and that's fine! The guy owns X (formerly Twitter), he couldn't find a drip of "care" in his body for our opinions so, hate away!

None of us can deny that he's changed the auto industry landscape with his Tesla brand of vehicles and most recently, the infamous Tesla Cybertruck.

The Cybertruck went viral for its non-traditional design and one of its key features: the entire vehicle is bulletproof.

Other features of the Cybertruck include the ability to go 0 to 60 MPH in just 2.6 seconds, shatter-resistant glass, and it can even "provide up to 11.5 kW power directly to your home to help keep the lights on" during a power outage according to Tesla's website.

It's likely why California-based company, Unplugged Performance decided to beef up and customize Tesla Cybertrucks for police officers to use as squad vehicles.

According to a report from Fox Business, Unplugged Performance has unveiled the "world's first Tesla Cybertruck Patrol vehicle ready for use by public safety officials everywhere."

California law enforcement has already incorporated electric vehicles into their fleet and are looking to add the Cybertruck.

Unplugged Performance says that deliveries of the Tesla Cybertruck Patrol vehicle will begin in late 2024.

Will Idaho law enforcement jump on board? We may know more as we head into 2025, but for now... you have to admit it looks pretty awesome.
