Idaho to Expand ‘Move Over’ Law

Did you know that when you're driving on the freeway, it's the law to move over for police and emergency vehicles that are pulled over? Well, if you didn't, now you know. And go ahead and tack on tow-trucks and maintenance vehicles as well.

According to KTVB, Governor Brad Little signed the bill into law during the 2019 legislative session and the expansion of the law went into effect today.

So, what happens if you get caught not moving over? Well not only is it extremely dangerous, but you will face a $90 citation. So be careful out there! And remember to slow down and move over!
