Idaho Tree Trimming Accident Kills 1 & Another Is Critical

Yesterday afternoon 28-year-old Corbin Bowers was killed and 26-year-old Emmett Koyle was hospitalized in critical condition for his injuries when they took a bucket 60 feet in the air to trim some major tree branches near the community of Jackson in Burley, Idaho.

According to KTVB, after the men had cut a large branch off the tree which they had tied to the bucket, I would imagine so that it wouldn't just free fall 60 feet to ground, the weight of the branch was too much, sending the entire bucket along with the two men inside straight to the ground in a disastrous free fall of their own.

At this time we can only send thoughts and prayers to the family of Bowers and hope that Koyle will somehow pull through.
