Idaho Vets Give Back

I know you guys hear it.  Every radio station has something that drives it.  Something it represents or stands for.  Part of why Carly and I joined Wow 104.3 is because of what this station stands for.  What's the driving force?  What kind of SOUL does our radio station have?

God, Family, Country, and Military!  That's what gives Wow 104.3 its soul.  I love how people here in the Treasure Valley love and support our men and women in the armed forces.  I love how people stand with pride when they see someone in uniform walk by.  I love seeing people thank them or buy lunch or do some kind of nice gesture for our military folks.

Another thing I love... Our men and women who've sacrificed so much, who've given their time, money, and efforts are still giving.  Long after they're done.  Our veterans here in the Treasure Valley worked hard and long in the rain over the weekend renovating the historic Carnegie Library in Caldwell.  Over 10,000 man hours have been donated by our veterans so far.

When it's done it'll be called the Caldwell Veterans Memorial Hall and will specifically serve the veterans of the west end of the Treasure Valley.

My hat's off to you guys.  I'm proud to be an American.  I do not take any current or past member of our military for granted.  I have five children that live in this wonderful country and have every opportunity to do what they want with their lives because you have given so much.  Thank You!
