For many people living here, the words "Idaho" and "celebrity" typically don't mix unless your name is Aaron Paul. People love Aaron because not only was he born in Idaho, he is loyal to Idaho.

Every so often, we hear about Aaron enjoying life in Idaho. Whether it's bringing his pal and Breaking Bad co-star Bryan Cranston into town to promote their Dos Hombres Mezcal or enjoying family time at the zoo, there's lots to appreciate about Paul's love for his home state.

But - does Idaho have a new favorite celebrity?

Sorry, we had to. Jimmy Fallon's presence in Idaho has been discussed recently, especially the stories about him hanging with his celebrity friends in Sun Valley. Now, some longtime Idaho residents don't want Hollywood stars bringing more attention to our state. Aaron Paul gets a pass because he's from here, Fallon is not.

But now, there seems to be another celebrity who is being given the Aaron Paul treatment: Post Malone.

Why Does Idaho Love And Welcome Post Malone So Much?

In case you weren't aware, Post Malone was recently spotted in Caldwell where he took several photos with excited fans at Cook's Two Hole Bar & Grilled in Melba before being spotted at Indian Creek Steakhouse in Caldwell.

According to those who interacted with him, Post Malone shared he's in town for a goose hunting trip - one of the most Idaho activities ever.

Posty was also spotted in downtown Boise last December, where he was spotted signing part of the infamous goal post that was torn down from Albertsons Stadium - chalk more points up for Posty.

That's also the same goal post that was torn down in the same stadium he and Jelly Roll will be rocking in June.

Now, roll all of that up and blend it with his recent crossover to country music, one of Idaho's most beloved music genres, and suddenly you have all the ingredients to crown Post Malone "Idaho's Favorite Celebrity."

But don't worry, Aaron - you'll always be Idaho's original (and homegrown) favorite celeb.
