Is Boise One of the Most Sinful Cities in the Country?

Are we the City of Trees...or the City of Sin? This is one list we don't want to find ourselves on.

Our friends at WalletHub put together a list of the most sinful cities in the country, but how does that work exactly? They tabulated a bunch of stats representing some deadly sins including:

• Violent crime per capita
• Excessive drinking
• Thefts
• Amount of adult entertainment establishments
• Lowest charitable donations

How did Boise fare as far as our sins go? Do we even have a chance to repent? Are we all going to Hell in a hand basket? Worry not.

Boise was ranked as the 130th most sinful city in the U.S. Which, seeing how many top 10 list Boise makes, this shouldn't come as much of a surprise. The only staggering stat is we ranked 52nd on the "Anger and Hatred" scale. Probably because we hate how many people want to move here after finding out how great it is.
