Man From Boise Accused of Raping 15-Year-Old

25-year-old Corey James West of Boise is in the Ada County Jail after being accused of raping a 15-year-old girl on Saturday night.

It was after 11 p.m. when deputies were called out to investigate the assault at a home in the 2300 block of South Locust Grove Rd in Kuna.

The young girl says she was inside the bathroom in the house when West forced his way in and raped her.  She immediately called a friend who then called police.  West was long gone when the deputies arrived.  Lots of people were interviewed in the investigation and finally West was found walking near a family member's home in Kuna about 8 a.m. on Sunday.

The sheriff's office say the suspect and girl know each other.  West has been arrested and booked into jail on felony charges of rape and also a misdemeanor charges of violating his probation.  He'll step into court on Monday.  If convicted of rape, he could spend the rest of his life in jail.
