Mediterranean Chain to Open in Eagle

Mediterranean food is my absolute favorite, so I'm so excited this Alabama based chain is coming to the Treasure Valley.

Taziki's Mediterranean Cafe will open in early may in Eagle at 1592 E. Riverside Dr.

On the menu: gyros, Greek salads, soups, sandwiches and more!

If Eagle isn't in your neck of the woods, fear not. Taziki's plans to open two more locations in Boise.

In diet-conscious America the nutritional information on all of Taziki's items can be found on their menu.

Some of the perhaps non-traditional items that look good to me are

• Taziki's Signature Pasta that combines all your favorite Greek flavors in a simple pasta dish.
• Taziki's Taco which is basically a Greek-inspired fish taco

Taziki's also offers some great vegetarian and gluten-free options! I can not wait to try this new restaurant out! Pass the hummus, please! We'll keep you posted when we get word on an official opening date!
