While Idaho isn't home to the most breweries (that title goes to California), the Gem State still has a solid selection of beer to choose from.

Boise, especially, is known for some outstanding breweries including Payette Brewing Company, 10 Barrel Brewing Co., Lost Grove Brewing, and several others.

If you've ever looked into how meticulous the brewing process is, you know it's essentially an art form. Timing and temperature control are crucial and can be the difference between a bad batch and a good batch.

It's why it's important to appreciate local breweries and show these artists the appreciation they deserve.

It's ALSO why we were FLOORED when we learned what "Idaho's Favorite Beer" is according to a study. The metrics were supposedly taken from "analysis of Google Search popularity and trend data" and "detailed surveys of consumer behavior."

When you consider all of the hard work that our local breweries put in, "Idaho's Favorite Beer" is a straight-up slap in the face.

At least in our opinion.
