Meridian Taco Bell to Be Torn Down

Oh please say this isn't true!? Don't take our Taco Bell away!

Before you panic, it's going to be back but yes they are tearing down the Taco Bell near I-84 off of Overland.

The tear down is part of a rebuild that would modernize the building. According to Boisedev.com the orange exterior will be replaced with earth tone materials and purple accents. It's a complete tear down and rebuild, not just a remodel.

No word yet on how long the project will take or when the Taco Bell location will shut down.

Grab those double deckers while you can because we're going to have to go through withdrawals for awhile.
