Nampa Will Recycle Your Christmas Tree!
Already thinking about how to get rid of that Christmas tree? The City of Nampa wants to help!
All you have to do is donate your tree for recycling as the city has plans to reuse the mulched Christmas trees on walking paths throughout Nampa and in tree wells.
The trees will be accepted Dec. 27-Jan. 13. Please note that they are asking for all tree stands, ornaments, tinsel, and whatever else you've used to decorate your tree to be removed.
The drop off location for the trees is Kohlerlawn Cemetery, located at 76 6th Street North, weekdays between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Please follow all the signs on Weamer Lane to guide you to the exact drop off location in the cemetery at the composite site.
Officials are asking you to please not drop off your tree at the cemetery office or shop.
