It's almost hard to believe but warmer temperatures are right around the corner and before we know it, it'll be time to soak in the Idaho sun and enjoy the outdoors.

Now, Boise officials are looking to enhance the pool experience for warm Boise weather.

Boise Parks & Rec Needs Our Help!

Let us just say, the folks over at Boise Parks & Recreation are crushing it. They're innovative, inclusive, and of course, fun!

This time, the amazing people at Boise Parks & Rec are looking to the public to help them pick a theme for a new pool coming to town. And while it won't be open in time for warmer temps this year, your impact this year can be felt for generations.

"Help Boise Parks and Recreation pick a theme for the “kiddie” area at the new Whitney Pool!" Boise Parks & Rec said in a statement.

"This exciting project happening in partnership with the Boise School District is moving forward, and Boise residents can weigh in on three different themes that will determine new spouts, play and spray features at the pool."

Where Will The Pool Be Built?

Officials say the pool will be located at Whitney Elementary School on the Boise Bench. Construction on the pool is expected to begin later this year, and the project is expected to be done by 2026.

BUT! Before they can do that, officials want to know which of the following design themes you think they should go with:

  • Pirate Adventure
  • Safari Land
  • Under The Sea Exploration

They all sound fun and something like kids would enjoy, but if we had to pick... we'd go with either Pirate Adventure or Under The Sea Exploration since, you know, it involves water!

What do you think? Let Boise Parks & Rec know which theme you'd pick HERE!
