The owners, Luke and Emily Black, have taken the farm-to-table concept and have created a brewery based on the same principle, fresh ingredients. In Athol, Idaho, you'll find a must-visit destination called Lone Mountain Farms & Brewery. The location of their farm is ideal for growing hops and grains that you can taste through their farm-craft beer.

According to Lone Mountain Farm & Brewery, they grow over ten types of hops, and their "passion lies in historic and European beer styles." The brewery has food, and the best way to stay updated on its menu is by following them on Facebook or Instagram

Lone Mountain Farm & Brewery is kid and family-friendly, and if you want to take your dog during the warmer months, they will allow well-behaved dogs on the patio. Just north of Coeur D'Alene, add this to your list of places to visit when you make that weekend trip up north from southern Idaho. Unless you live in northern Idaho, you should get to the farm as soon as possible.

The farm also has eggs that you can purchase on the weekends. So yes, you'll find some chickens on the farm doing what chickens do best.

Location: 25415 N Ramsey Rd, Athol, ID 83801, seasonal hours Friday - Sunday.

LOOK: Best Beers From Every State

To find the best beer in each state and Washington D.C., Stacker analyzed January 2020 data from BeerAdvocate, a website that gathers user scores for beer in real-time. BeerAdvocate makes its determinations by compiling consumer ratings for all 50 states and Washington D.C. and applying a weighted rank to each. The weighted rank pulls the beer toward the list's average based on the number of ratings it has and aims to allow lesser-known beers to increase in rank. Only beers with at least 10 rankings to be considered; we took it a step further to only include beers with at least 100 user rankings in our gallery. Keep reading to find out what the best beer is in each of the 50 states and Washington D.C.
