Pregnant Woman Life Flight After Rollover in Boise
A bad crash at Highway 16 and Colton Lane sent a pregnant woman to St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center last night around 5:30.
The Ada County Sheriff's Department was on the scene quickly and removed the woman who is 22 weeks pregnant from the upside down vehicle.
Both directions of Highway 16 were blocked off for about a half an hour while the wreck was investigated and cleaned up. The woman was immediately flown to the hospital. We have no word yet on her condition or the condition of her baby.
Authorities say they think she over corrected while driving and ended up crossing into oncoming traffic where fortunately no one else was hurt.
