Melba Man Killed in Rollover Accident
Every time I hear about an accident like this it reminds me of how precious life is. How any one of us could be gone in an instant. This time it's a 45-year-old man from Melba who is gone too soon.
Vincente Acosta-Angeles was driving east on HWY 78 near Givens Hot Springs last night when for reasons unknown at this time his Ford Focus went off the right shoulder. All of a sudden his car rolled and Vincente was ejected from the vehicle, sealing his fate.
According to KTVB, he was not wearing a seatbelt and was pronounced dead at the scene. The accident blocked the highway for about three hours last night.
We don't know a lot about Vincente. I wonder if he has a family? A wife and/or children who a grieving deeply this morning. Friends and family who will be morning the loss of his life for years to come.
This one life we have is so precious. No one is invisible to tragedy. We have very little control when tragedy strikes sometimes, but please remember to buckle up, don't drive distracted, and drive as safely as you can on the roads.
The impact of one life lost has a rippling effect that can hurt for generations to come. Please keep those who are missing this man this morning in your thoughts and prayers.
