Shooting in Garden City This Morning

A shooting has occurred this morning in Garden City. Here's what we know so far. 

The pull of a trigger at 5:30 a.m. on 44th Street near Adams Street. The victim is a 29-year-old male but he has not been specifically identified. According to KTVB they were shot in the stomach and have been taken to the hospital. So far their condition is unknown.

Crime scene tape can be seen around a trailer park and the shooter is still on the loose but is not considered a threat to the public.

Obviously, there are still a lot of questions that need to be answered in this story. Only time will tell more of the tale. We don't know what the motive was behind the shooting. All we can do right now is pray for the victim and hope that justice will be served.

Thoughts and prayers to all that are affected by this. We all need to remember that one split decision can change everything in an instant.

***UPDATE*** 33-year-old John Hewey Daniels of Greenleaf has been arrested in this case. The victim is stable and so far it is unknown if the two men knew each other.
