Strongman Competition in Meridian to Benefit Our Military

Huge crowds gathered at the Mecca Gym in Meridian yesterday to watch some of the Word's Strongest Men put it all on the line to raise money for our local military.

These guys bringing lifting, pushing, and pulling to levels that just about seem impossible.  They do it all for the nonprofit organization called Wishes For Warriors which helps veterans by taking them on trips and adventures like fishing, skydiving, and other cool trips that allow them to relax, talk, and be able to have some type of therapeutic getaway.

A big thank you to The Mecca Gym who brought in over $11,000 for our veterans last year and hope to bring in more with the Strong Man Competition this year.  And thank you to all who not only participated but were involved in the event.
