TMSG: 10-Year-Olds Bake, Sell Dog Treats To Raise Money For Food Bank
10-year-olds Daniel Grant and Max Caponigro in Massachusetts are working together to help raise money for their local food bank.
The best friends learned how to make dog treats and decided to sell and deliver them to their neighbors with some of the proceeds going to Milton Food Bank.
They split the money that comes in with Daniel, Max, and the Milton Food Pantry each getting 30% and the other 10% goes to buy supplies.
So far the duo has made $400 worth of donations to the food pantry. Max told The Patriot Ledger, "We wanted to pick a charity that would help with COVID, and the food pantry has been really busy." And Daniel shared what he's learned, "You have to be responsible [...] your parents won't always pay for everything or do stuff for you."
