Lisa Racine's father Harold has been in the nursing home Good Samaritan Society in Minnesota and because of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, they've been kept apart. So in order to stop them from being separated, Racine got creative.

She took a custodial job at the nursing home as a second job. The side gig allowed Racine to have access to Harold. For 87-year-old Harold, seeing his daughter walk into the nursing home after she was hired brought him so much joy, noting it as "one of the happiest days of my life" to KARE.

Racine is wearing an apron and mopping the floor and scraping plates in the kitchen for her part time job. She told KARE, "I can't believe they pay me for this. [...] I could take a yoga class or go to happy hour, but I'd rather come and mop the floor and clean dishes so I can see my dad… He's cleaned up plenty of messes after me in the past."
