Firefighters were called to the scene of a two-story house fire in Washington, D.C.

By the time they arrived, the four residents had already evacuated, but their six dogs were still inside. Firefighters ran inside and were able to locate five dogs and a sixth lying unconscious in the basement. A member of the department's rescue squad carried the dog out and then several of them worked to revive the little one.

All of the firefighters efforts were captured on video and posted to the fire department's Twitter account. They were able to give the dog oxygen and water to cool it down.

Thanks to the firefighters efforts, all the dogs survived.
