Not only did Reese lose her family home in the Creek Fire in California, but she also lost her baseball card collection. Her community heard about her big loss and sent all kinds of donations. Including a big donation from the company Topps, who sent her baseball cards, baseballs, and other memorabilia. She received so much baseball memorabilia that she decided to spread the love and help give things to 50 other kids that lost their homes.

She shared with Yahoo Sports, "I had a binder of cards at first, and now it's at 25,000." Her story even caught San Francisco Giants catcher Buster Posey's attention who sent Reese a signed baseball and new gear from her favorite team.

Reese even has her own website now cardsfromreese.org, where kids fighting cancer can request cards. She said "When I was in the hospital, people gave me things that made me happy. So I want to give them things that make them happy."
