Chicago restaurateur Eduard Seitan has struggled through the coronavirus pandemic to find hope due to his restaurants and its employees facing brutal challenges. Luckily, Seitan found a way to cope with the challenges. He owns an old airplane. Two  years ago, he started volunteering for the nonprofit Pilots N Paws, which is an organization that has a network of volunteer pilots who fly animals at risk of being euthanized to no-kill rescue organizations and foster families across the Untied States. Seitan has personally flown over 40 pets to safety for the group. The dogs, though coming from horrible situations, have never barked or acted upset while in the air with Seitan. Not only that, Seitan has found a way to combine his two passions. When costumers order takeout from one of his restaurants, they also receive a photo of an adoptable dog from Chicago Animal Care and Control.
